The Game of Life Doesn’t Build Character

The game of life doesn’t built character. It reveals it.

When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.

Every dark cloud has a silver lining.

When life hands us lemons, we find out what we are made of. We are human, so our first reaction will be “Sh***!” Or “F***!” Then, do you stay there or “put your nose to the grindstone?” Fall down 7 times and get up 8?

Or do you stay down and use this as the excuse not to notice the silver lining.

The silver lining is the message, the lesson that could be learned and gained from the lemons!

Disappointment just might be an attachment to the outcome you wanted. Detaching from the outcome and allowing just might be more fun in the end!
