Attachment to the Outcome is the Source of Our Pain
The source of pain is not wanting what we want. The source of our pain is an attachment to the outcome. The wanting is not the issue. The attachment to whether or not we have the outcome we desire is the issue and needs to change to alleviate our pain.
Sometimes Plan B is better than Plan A. But, if we are attached to Plan A, we don’t see Plan B.

- I am attached to the outcome I want.
- There is no other acceptable outcome.
- I’m not willing to let go of what I want.
